Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues while using Notion2Gcal, this guide provides solutions to common problems.
Sync issues
Events not appearing in Google Calendar
- Check if your Google Calendar and Notion integration is connected under Connections.
- Ensure that your Notion database, date field and Google Calendar is correctly selected in the Automations.
- If using filters (Premium feature), double-check that they are correctly configured and not excluding tasks unintentionally.
- Try reauthorizing Notion and Google Calendar in Connections.
Events not updating or deleting
- Ensure that the Notion task was modified after the last sync cycle.
- Verify that the automation applies to the modified task.
- Confirm that the correct Google Calendar is selected in your Automation.
- Check if you are within your plan’s sync schedule (every 2 hours for free users, every 5 minutes for premium users).
Authorization issues
Unable to connect Google Calendar
- Make sure you are signing in with the correct Google account.
- Ensure you have granted all requested permissions.
- If authorization fails, try removing Notion2Gcal from your Google account’s third-party apps and reconnecting.
Unable to connect Notion
- Confirm that you have selected the correct Notion workspace when authorizing.
- Ensure that your Notion database has read and write access enabled.
- Try removing Notion2Gcal from your Notion integrations and reconnecting.
Subscription & billing issues
Premium features not activated after upgrading
- Confirm that the payment was successfully processed.
- Refresh your Account page to check if the subscription status has updated.
- If the issue persists, contact support at support@notion2gcal.com.
Payment failed
- Verify that your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds.
- Check if the payment provider (Mollie) flagged the transaction.
- Try using a different payment method.
General troubleshooting steps
- Log out and log back in to refresh your session.
- Clear your browser cache and retry.
- Try using a different browser to rule out browser-related issues.
